So, the 5X is pretty damn nice

I have no games on my Nexus 5x. I don't watch movies or videos on my Nexus 5x. I don't stream music on my Nexus 5x. I have no social media programs on my Nexus. I have a computer at home and I only go to the internet on my phone for a specific search and no "surfing".

I do text messages with a few friends. I get emails when I'm out and answer a few but most wait till I'm back to my computer. I take photos. I have my Google Calendar for my schedule and Google Keep for my lists. I use Google Maps occasionally. I use my Spanish/English dictionary frequently. I use my English dictionary rarely.

When I go to bed I power my Nexus 5x off. My battery lasts for three to four days.

My battery lasts three or four days.

Must be nice to not be important and not receive phone calls or such....I wish I wasn't important to my job.

I love the 5x and Fi. My 4th Nexus phone and the best phone I've ever owned. I screwed up and bought the 16gb version and am running low on space. Now Google stopped selling the 5x and my only option is the used market and I'm worried about getting a defective phone cause my first 5x was. I looked at the Pixel, but didn't see anything about it to justify the significant price hike. So disappointed the Nexus line is being retired! I'll be forced to get a Pixel when my storage runs out or risk a used one.

Yeah I just ordered a replacement phone, they're still selling the 5x...

Cute but pointless. I'm not working now. I'm deaf so, no, I don't get phone calls. I do text messaging. I wish I had time to sit and endlessly pay games with my Nexus 5x but even though I'm not working I do have a life. I wish I could stroll around with a glazed look while I listened to music on my phone. I use Google Maps fairly often. When I'm stranded without a Kindle I can read on my Nexus. I use my Spanish/English dictionary a lot. I keep my appointments and so forth on Google Calendar and it gets used a lot. I also keep "cellular data" turned off except in emergencies and have an awesome library of WiFi passwords for local cafes, coffee shops, libraries, restaurants, and public buildings.

Yes, JWP, different people use their phones differently but they never seem to think that might have some bearing on the phone's performance.

I'm really impressed with my 5X. Loved my 5 and wanted 6P but was just too big for my hand. Using Fi in Barcelona right now. It worked great in Copenhagen, too. In fact, flying over France, I got a notification that I was covered in France.
