So the HTC One M8 has been released for more than a month. How is everyone feeling about it?

I absolutely LOVE it. I'm currently using a Note 3 while mine is being repaired by HTC because I dropped it and the screen got all messed up. Other than the photo quality in certain scenarios the phone is near perfect.

Like the phone, taking a little getting use to coming from Samsung galaxy s4. But it's very fast!!!

Best phone I've ever owned and I came from an LG G2. I love everything about the One M8. It's only mild drawback I've seen is the battery is mildly disappointing.

See, I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum for the battery. Coming from an iPhone 5s the battery on this phone blows it out of the water.

Extremely happy with my M8. Great performance, impressive battery life. The best Android phone I have had.

Ya battery life is awesome, never worrying about getting through the day

I like it better today than when I first bought it. Two days after I bought it I went on a trip. The phone worked really well. For browsing, Facebook, email, etc. I could do most everything on the phone that I could on my home PC. I still haven't figured out all the different ways to wake it up and what all the different swipes mean, but I'm sure that will come with time and more use.

Battery life was terrible at first but I did some calibration trick and I've been getting a day easily out of it. Reception has been pretty hit or miss but I'm not sure if its the phones fault or Sprints network. Had the N4 on Tmo and never had call issues

What is the calibration trick?

I have had mine since release and I love phones, I always try the latest and I seem to always go back to iPhone due to lag. The M8 I still can't put it down its smooth with no lag and the battery amazes me, I never worry about plugging it into the car or carrying a charger with me to the office.

For me its the sexiest best option of any phone available at this time.

Using my M8 for almost 15 days & its really stunning :)
Everything in this device is Top class.
One major problem i face is "My M8 gets heated up too bad while charging i.e i cant even hold it or make a call immediately after unplugging it from the charger, I'm unhappy with that :("

But I thought the M8 was perfect?

Let's be real for a sec. First off, most people will defend their choice of phones to the death, even if it is less than perfect. People don't want to admit they made a mistake. That's OK, it's human nature. Did anyone really expect responses in this thread to be- "it sucks", "worst phone ever", etc..... Of course people think it's great, just like people in the S5 forums love their phone, just like people in Nexus 5 forums love their phone. Of course you're going to get 99% positive feedback.

It's like going to a hardcore linux forum and asking "do you like linux?". Duh. No one wants to admit the choices they make are maybe not so perfect. But anyway, enjoy!

Had the same issue. A lot of the initial battery issues are mainly due to it just being a new device. Takes the battery a couple days to catch up the operating system.
