Be happy one company found a way around a loop hole. Sorry the stock isn't up to your standards. If they had some to ship to you I am sure they would. But why you would think that its bad of Verizon to not allow you to break your contract for free is beyond me.

I don't see how Verizon is dumb for how it doesn't allow a third party retailer to place an order on an already back ordered phone. I think it makes perfect sense. If they did, I could see the crappy third party stores placing large orders and making the back order worse.

Why should Verizon go against its well stated policy just because some random third party said they would? In fact, I highly doubt the third party store could actually give you the deal. I imagine they were either lying, or they would do something weird like not place the actual order until your upgrade date. I bet they will do all kinds of sketchy things to make money off of you.

I understand your frustration. I would first try walmart, but they likely wont give you the 2 year cost. Next option is to call or speak to a manager at the premium store, not the third party.

I actually had one in my hands the other night at an authorized retailer. Problem was, they waived my New Every 2 discount and charged me an extra $100 to upgrade with a 1 year deal vs. the VZW site which would charge me about $70. So instead of paying $169 they tried charging me $350...I understand plenty would be willing to pay that, so there was no sense in arguing with the guy and I walked out.
