Ok yeah I’m generally a light case guy so that doesn’t bother me. All my cases on all my phones mostly don’t have bottom protection.

I know you can't really use it yet but what are your thoughts on this case? I needed a case with a cover for the ports but also don't want too much bulk and was considering this one.

I actually like that. Shows off that gorgeously polished metal chassis a bit. Also makes for clearer calls on speakerphone.

I'm still deciding between the red and the new brown leather official OEM case. I went with red for the S10 and Note10 (though I usually used both phones without a case). Think I'm gonna switch it up and go with brown. That's the color that ages best when it comes to leather anyway. Kind of reminds me of that popular "saddle brown" leather official iPhone case. There's not much that Apple does right, in my opinion, but color options (phones and cases) are one of them.

The bottom-corners are protected anyway. It would have to be an oddly specific fall/hit for the leather case not to protect even the bottom-middle.

The leather OEM case looks much better with the bottom open anyway. Kind of wish the top was open in the same way, with just the corners covered.

I had a note 10+ in a speck case. Phone fell in an odd situation. Landed right on the s-pen corner and a small rock went right in the opening. Put 3 cracks right up the screen. SMH. I couldn't believe it.

So as with most my phones my go to case has been uag, but with my note 10+ I tried the tech21 Evo check case and let me tell you for me at least it's saved my phone more then once along with the whitestone dome screen protector. My note 10+ is the first large phone I've owned so yeah I've dropped it quite a lot lol. I'm getting the blue color phone so I wanted to get a clear case so I ordered the tech21 pure clear and Spigen ultra hybrid and the caseology
solid flextoo try. I wanted another Evo check but unfortunately they don't have clear ones and the smokey color still let's some color through but not a lot. So guess we'll see how the pure clear holds up. Open to any other clear case suggestions

How did the clear tech21 do on drops? I know it's rated for I think 6 or 10 ft drops vs the Evo check that's rated for 12ft drops

The clear ones are good on drops had one on my note 10+ . I always got the evo check but wanted a clear for my note. It works great.

I ended up getting the clear ESR case that was on sale for $6. I'll eventually get the neo hybrid and zizo bolt. I need a belt clip for work.
