I normally prefer as little bulk as possible that still offers moderate protection. The monarch came yesterday and it's not bad. I already have one on my iphone and I like it. Maybe more bulk than you like though.
I would not put additional glass over the camera. It may impact the quality of your photos especially if it's cheaply made.
My opinion is it wouldn't matter too much either way. Its debatable as to which one would offer more protection. I would look at it more as scratch protection.
I agree with Mike Dee, don't get full protection for the cameras as it may impact photo quality, just one with cutouts to protect from scratches when laying it down.
Sure thing. In the past they haven't been great for me. Since they scratch much easier than the actual camera glass micro scratches happen pretty quick on them especially when taking it in and out of your pocket.
I buy a spigen for every phone, probably have 10 or so on my closet from past phones. They make a great case and at a great price. I'll be picking one up in a week or 2, picked up an ESR case on sale for $6 and that will have to work for now. Need to recoup some funds from the down payment and new watches I just picked up.
