So What Is Everyone Using Their $25 Credit For?

Angry Bird Space HD, a book or two, the first month of a magazine subscription, and a few other apps.

Sorry, you can't use it for subscriptions or accessories. :(

Per Google Play website:
"Select the content* (album, app, book, magazine, movie, song or TV show) you want to purchase.
*Note that the $25 credit may not be used to buy a subscription or in the Devices section of play.google.com toward the purchase of any devices or on any device accessories."

Well, I definitely will be purchase an office suite, so I can view, edit, and create word, excel, and powerpoint files. I also will likely be purchasing Photoshop touch or something of the sort. Also, FL Studio is working on an android version, so I may do that as i have FL Studio on my laptop and it's my go-to music writing software.

I'm replacing my laptop altogether with the nexus 7, and the above listed apps are my "needs" to make that happen.

I just realized that Minecraft is available in the Google Play store! I know where $6.99 of my credit is going!

What's this $25 credit thing all about?

Depending on how well the GPS works I may spend it on a good GPS nav app. I currently use a Garmin Quest (awesome BTW) that I got 7 years ago. It's still going strong, but just a little dated.

This will be my first tab and first Android device so, other than GPS, I just don't know. Probably some books.

Try out Navfree. It doesn't cost anything (plus?, in your case?) and it is a very good app.

Possibly:

GTA
NOVA 3
Minecraft

Is NOVA really that good? It seems it's pretty popular among you guys.

Nova 3 is good. You won't be disappointed. Just hope it is optimized for our tablets

I say it depends on the type of person you are. If you're fine with pirating, get those apps. Otherwise...

Is it seriously pirating I've always thought it was legal? Why would Google allow the apps in the play store? I had no clue

I dunno, but free music... Sounds like pirating. How big is their selection and what app are you talking about.

Some of the apps I'm always skipping out on. Probably a book or two, as well.

Yeah I've gotten music from this app since my original backflip
