hero because the keyboard, even though it is soft, is better than the moment keyboard... my cousin has the moment and he loves it... but even he loved my hero more. i just got the hero and i had a pre since launch.... trust me, you want the hero. plus, samsung should not be in the smartphone market... they make decent flip phones for basic use, but leave the real smarthpones to HTC and RIM... even Motorola has left a bad taste in my mouth... get the hero! you will be more than happy!

HTC has way more experience with Android than Samsung or any other brand, so I rather go for wisdom than anything else when it comes to Android, however I will never buy another HTC Winmo since I have had too many problems with them from the Touch 6900 to the Touch Pro 2.

You should have made this into a poll so people could vote. My answer is the UI ... Sorry by stock android is U.G.L.Y. and it aint got no alibi!!!!

I'd go with the hero. I had the pre and then switched to the moment. I liked the moment, but it is an ugly phone. It's a brick and the battery life is terrible and there still aren't any extended batteries for it. HTC has way more backing it. The hero battery life is a lot better than the moments and pres and sense UI kicks a$$. Also the phone is very light weight and appealing.
