So what's next? moving on from my S3

What would you guys recommend I consider for my next phone? I will be moving on from the S3 after being very happy with it the last few years. The Power button is acting up. I know Button Savior will let me limp along for a bit but after almost 2.5 years, I think it's time to start looking.

Some info that I suspect will help:
  • I am on Verizon and have an upgrade eligible phone.
  • I am cost conscious. Not cheap. But I want to pay for quality and proven features vs future potential.
  • I do not have to have the latest and greatest and I generally have been happy with phones after they have hit the market and been established as solid as opposed to "getting in line to be the first one to have phone X"

Other priorities:
  • Battery Life
  • Build quality / durability
  • camera performance
  • Call and signal quality
  • Similar screen size and profile as the S3.

Any and all input appreciated.

Bump? Nothing?...

I am thinking about the S5, because I was so happy with the S3, and because it's splash resistant and is supposed to have good battery life, but I would really welcome suggestions as I have not been paying attention to phone technology over the last 2 years.

Suggest go to Sony xperia z3. I jump to Sony and is extremely happy with the performance. It's fast, long battery life with heavy usage, water proof. And can use strap. With a dock charger you need not any other accessories.

Honestly you cannot go wrong with the S5. But like someone mentioned above the Z3v is also a viable option.

I've had my s3 for 2 years now and it's time to upgrade. I'm going to wait for the s6, however if the specs and reviews don't impress me I might go for something else. I'm thinking xiaomi :)
