So when we start receiving shipments??

Got mine today and so stoked! Just been playing around with Good Lock and other settings, also got my watch8 Classic and buds 4 pro yesterday so I'm set!

The buds sound amazing by the way. Definitely better than my airports 4 with ANC.

Kind of annoying that now Samsung is offering free memory upgrades upon official release. Even with trade in values lowered that's still at least 150 savings if you purchased the 1TB version over 512GB.

Got the dreaded order delayed, from Best Buy. I will be on the phone with them and screaming at someone tomorrow. Mine says the 12th thru the 14th, but if not seen by the 24th, my order will be cancelled. Wtf?

Same here. I already had a chat yesterday with a BB Supervisor letting them know I knew my phone wasn't coming on time and that I expected a hefty credit if late. He said come back to chat tomorrow if phone was late so I screenshot entire chat including his name and promise IN WRITING. You can bet I will get something for my troubles AND ON A DAILY BASIS FOR EVERY DAY IT IS LATE!

Won't ever buy from WorstBuy again!

I only pre-ordered a phone from Best Buy years ago. It was an S6 Active and they had it on launch day. I'm thinking carriers get priority. It's ok to buy a phone from Best Buy once they have the phones in stock, but I don't think it's wise to pre-order through them unless you want to deal with late delivery.

If I would have ordered the 512 at launch it was $599 out the door, today it's $579. I didn't want to spend $599 then and I still don't want to spend $579. For those that did pay the $20 more I would be a little disappointed, but I wouldn't even try to fight with Samsung to give a credit or return and reorder

With the 1TB, if it is a $150 savings, if you haven't sent in your trade in yet, return the one you got and reorder, I might do it for that kind of savings.

Not to downplay the fact other folks aren’t getting theirs on time, but my Best Buy black 1TB says it’ll be out for delivery today. I’m not sure what the difference with your orders and mine would be, besides storage size/color, I possibly live in a much more rural area, paid with PayPal, and I ordered within the first hour or two of preorder (though I’m sure most of us did.) I wouldn’t assume those things would make a huge difference, but might be useful info.

I'm going to talk to them. Still looks to be a difference even with the lowered trade in value. If it's too much hassle I won't worry about it. CapOne did give me a 198 promo for spending more than 330 so I'm still winning even if they don't decide to price match.

More than likely storage size 1 TB don't sell as much

Congrats how are you enjoying the new watch? I am back and forth on getting the classic after ditching my Ultra 3 AppleWatch. But then again I heard rumor Samsung was releasing new watches in July! UGH decisions decisions. haha, what made you pull the trigger on the older watch now instead of waiting?

Fair point, I got it knowing I’d never fill it. Apparently, this year’s model is surprisingly popular, too, so they may not have been totally prepared to handle all the orders they got for the smaller storage options.
I'm guessing Samsung produced more 256 models this year with the 1TB not as many expecting more demand with the 256 since they didn't open with free memory upgrades this year

It's Samsung. We knew there would be price changes in the near future. Sucks to see that dbl storage now lol!

I'm sticking with the 256 bc I'm not paying close to $600 for 512 either way when I paid $350 for that last year. I know everything is more expensive, but I'd be paying for storage I don't use.

It's worth people doing the math though. Discounts and rewards programs fluctuate like Sammy's prices, so some may come out on top.

Samsung always changes their sales/promos and they usually are pretty close on total cost each time. This time though they really dropped the price on the 1TB model so maybe they didn't sell as many of those... Who knows
