Current rumor is that the 8GB is going the way of the dodo, the 16GB will be coming down to about the current 8GB pricing, and the 32GB will occupy the new $250 price point. There's enough anecdotal and corroborating evidence to suggest this is probably going to be the way things shake down.

But all of it is rumor until the announcement from Google.

You'll need to wait for the announcement to be sure. Given the very slim profit margins on the 8 GB, I think it makes more sense to keep selling it rather than reducing the margins further by making it 16GB, and keeping the 8GB will also drive more sales of the 32GB which has a larger profit margin. Though some rumours suggest it is the 8GB being discontinued.

Pretty sure it's the 8GB that will bite the dust. I think some are saying it's low-stock/prepared for clearance in Staples?

If they bring the 16GB to $200, they'd make the N7 more competitive with other devices on the market (iPad mini, Kindle Fire). However, this'll probably detract sales from the 32GB. If they keep the 8GB at $200 and toss out the 16GB, it'd boost sales for the 32GB--but at the same time, it might be less competitive with other devices.
