This is very shameful from Samsung.

I talked to a Samsung rep again yesterday and it felt like he was clueless like

December security update hasn't been out for most phones yet lol. I pointed out that possibly 90 percent of Galaxy note devices from Note 8 note 9 note 10 family have been updated and showed him the firmwares available on Sammobile.

I was then told the servers are busy so update via Samsung switch which I told I tried and nothing there.

Then I was told my device must be faulty and needs to be checked at the closest Samsung experience store lol.

They just making excuses and not admitting that they have either messed up the updates for us 5g users or worse still forgotten us.

Even EE network in the UK for all variants has beaten us to the punch lol. They are usually the slowest network to release updates.

Talk about having advantage with unlocked BTU firmware.

Cant vent my frustration enough

Totally unacceptable but we will have to wait and see what Samsung does.

It's like talking to a brick wall with Samsung support.

A little annoying at this stage but I'll rather wait a little longer if it means getting a bug free experience

As I have reiterated before I dont mind getting Android 10 late. Absolutely should be bug free. Dont get Samsung logic in making this a excuse and not giving us the security patches in a timely manner. What's the issue with giving everyone else monthly patches and not us.

As far as I know the US T-Mobile 5G version launched with Android 10 and One UI 2.0 earlier in the month.

Yeah, it came with Android 10 out of the box.

The funny thing is most of the carriers have released official Android 10 for the 10+ (4G), but us beta testers still haven't gotten it.

Yeah weird I'm like please send the stable build to beta testers on US unlocked model. At least it'll give us hope that stable build is closer for the US unlocked model who couldn't get into beta

Beta users use to get it before they rolled it out to public , not this time

Really? It may still happen this time right? The stable build is still not out for the US unlocked model so the stable build for beta users might still roll out first and then to regular users.

It's possible , but even if the stable version for unlocked comes before beta users I'll flash right away, I have the TMobile firmware ready to flash but waiting little bit longer

It could be they will release it along the January security patch? If you think about it they released the December patch to US unlocked models within couple days of start of December while the carrier variants didn't release December patch. They released it with Android 10 update.

I'm guessing Samsung will do the Android 10 update end of this week for the US unlocked models along with the January security update.
