Might be the 5.1.1...
I'm surprised that hasn't happened already. The newer version comes with it. Shouldn't OG Turbos have gotten it long ago?

Dumb question.... What do you mean by OG

Original/Original Gansta Motorola Droid Turbo 1st release 2014 vs a new new Turbo built later on released with 5.1.1

Um. What?
I just got a "certified like new" Turbo from Verizon last week to replace my original one that the USB port broke on. The replacement came with 5.1.My friend just recently switched from Apple to his first Android and got a Turbo. I asked him to switch phones with me because I assumed it came on Kit Kat but saw it has 5.1.1. He said it came that way. I assumed it was a "newer" version being a fresh model hence the 5.1.1 vs 5.1.

Must be live - I just got the OTA update. Comments only say "Security Update" so I'm guessing the Stagefright fix.FYI: just read on Android Headlines (Oct 1, 2015) that Motorola is preparing a Droid Turbo Software Soak Test.
Perhaps only to address the Stagefright vulnerability, but no details yet.

Mine failed both that app and, the Lookout Security app. I'm beginning to think that the update was for other issues. Looking forward to seeing the changelog.Install and run this app from Zimperium (who discovered and reported to Google the Stagefright exploits) and see if they are resolved.
