Until there is an unlock or exploit found it is a permanent lock.

I have read a few posts on other forums in the last couple days saying that the atrix can be added to the "can't unlock after update" list. Right along side the photon and electrify users who took the update.

I was hoping for Ice Cream Sandwich and a new webtop. I wasn't chosen for the SOAK test and it was a bit of letdown for neither of those two things to be a part of it. I went back to stock, I'm still in stock. I do have Webtop+ flashed in the meantime.

Should I get out of stock to stop an auto-update from happening for when they finally try to push the update over the air?

The issues I've been having are ALMOST not worth it, but I've been fixing it all as it comes. As far as opting out.... Root and find the old version to flash?

Don't update to the mass ota that's coming out unless they fix their 4g problems. Many are having issues with it.

A battery pull fixed the 4g problem for me, have not had an issue since.

Let me put it this way. this update made me feel like I had a blackberry... Battery pull, battery pull, battery pull.
