Soft-Bricked Fast boot not doing anything

So i tried flashing clockworkmod but it didn't seem to install correctly. I then tried the fastboot method but no matter how much i try I cant get it to work. Every time it just shows the fastboot screen. I can boot to the rom and im runnig gingerbread on my phoenix. What should i do make the recovery work.

If you can boot to the ROM your not soft bricked. If your trying to get CWM install I recommend you read my post on howto do so if its one a Thrive there are some other issues to take into account and you will need to read the thread on that I think it was by Thrivin. Long story short though you will need to install ROM manager tell it to install CWM and the exit ROM manager and reboot. But for the love of God do not use ROM Manager to do anything else until CWM is installed or it will soft brick your phone and you will be dancing through more hoops.

Probably ROM Manager won't work. I have same problem - to solve it I flash V20E firmware through KDZ, root it, install recovey from LGMDP v.1.5, and flash my custom ROM from recovery with all wipes.
