Just wondering if anyone else feels that the back button and the recent apps button should be switched? Not really nitpicking... just a question

I was just thinking that today

I wonder since they are soft....if there will be a method to switch spots.

However by that time I'll be too used to the current setup

Well im almost positive with rooting this will be an easy task as well as resizing icons. Im just trying to see the logic used for their placement

I hold the phone in my right hand. I use the back button more than the recent apps so for me its easy to hit the button I use most with my thumb. They added the search key to it so I'm sure someone will release a few different styles for everyone.

It different you will get used to it, eventually there will be an app that will add, remove, change the order of the buttons. Until then enjoy :)

ditto. I came from the original droid so having the back button on the left where it is easiest on the thumb seems right. In fact, the moving of the back button (the most often used button) to the right on most recent phones was a real turn off for me. I was attracted to the GNex because Google seem to have moved the back button back to it's proper place
