Softkeys for Galaxy tab E

Does anyone know how i can enable androids built in nav bar? (home, back, recent) and disable the "softkeys" Samsung has on their tablets on the galaxy Tab E 5.1.1 (lollipop) its very very annoying clicking on the back/recent button all the time in landscape mode.

The only way I know of is with a custom ROM.
