Software - 1.35.605.2 soon?

All right, came across this from another forum. The poster there has 1.35.605.2 as their software number. As someone made clear earlier, there is no Verizon logo on the Incredible, just an HTC one.

So as they asked in the other forum.... Anyone else have this software number?

I suspect if it's real, it went out to test/developer/pre-release phones first. That would explain the HTC at the top at least.

Hopefully we do get an update. I like updates in general

That new boot animation is sexy. I want it! For those of us with custom boot animations, would that be overridden when we get the update? I hope so - I want that new one.

I saw that very same boot animation and Droid sound on a rooted DInc online video. My guess is maybe the author of that video just rooted and is messing with folks. Can't explain the HTC logo though....

Nobody but that person has reported getting the update. The video he has posted has HTC instead of Verizon on the phone. So no clue if it's real or why he got it if it is.....

Yes if this update rolls out to everyone then it will over write the custom boot animation you have. He reports so far that it didn't fix the browser thumbnail issue when doign a factory reset and I think thats all he shared so far. The software revision he claims to have is 1.65.605.2 I think. Not sure though.

i've noticed the battery life, the signal bar, and wifi hotspot. i cant really check the car dock thing cause i dont have one, nor a access to a router that has wireless N. i know... im old school.

so wifi hotspot without FroYo? interesting - not sure what the signal bar problem or the car dock problem is because I don't have them....

Anyone else? Hopefully he misstyped when he said firmware "1.2-update 1" and meant 2.1.
