Software update 11/10 AT&T

Agreed. Too much strain on the eyeballs.

That's a pretty hefty file size for the monthly security update. Generally, they're under 100 MB.

They added some media app called full screen. That might be why it's so big of an update.

It doesn't seem to have negatively impacted the phone in any way I can discern.

What else did this update include? Last time I updated software on my old moto x it screwed up the phone.

I try to use fonts that look like handwriting. As long as they are displayed larger, fonts don't bother me when they look like that.

I just tried since you mentioned it. You're right. The "check again in 24 hours" countdown is no longer present. However, I don't think it actually checks for the updates when you try to check again right away. It just brings you right to the screen telling you that you have the most current software. My guess is that it probably still will only check the servers every 24 hours but it just does not give you the message. I will check again in a few hours to see if my theory is correct.
