Question Update my s22

I currently have s22 but have screen issue with a lcd dot .
It will cost me $200 to fix it
Should I get new phone instead and if so what s series would you recommend. I don't want to spend a lot
I've been looking at s24 or s25fe but I read about software updates giving issue's

Fix S22 if:

You want cheapest option
You’re okay with an older phone

Get S24 if:

You want best performance + longest life
You prefer a smaller phone
You want something that’ll last 4–5+ years

Get S25 FE if:

You want good value for money
You like bigger screens + battery
You don’t need top-tier performance

There have been reports of recent updates causing:
Battery drain
Overheating on S24/S25 series

Those are software related bugs not hardware
