Software Update Coming too Sprint (LS970ZVC) with Links

I have some information I am going too share with the forum. There is a new Software Version Coming too Sprint. The software version is LS970ZVC. The open source code is online at LG Open Source . Now I haven't had a chance too built from source. But I will post the web address for it.

Now here is the second link that shows Sprint should be releasing the LS970ZVC update soon. It still shows it will be Android 4.1.2 , but what Information I got and the information in the page I seen shows there will be a small update too fix radio and WiFi bugs and But you never know exactly with sprint. Update : I downloaded the open source code from LG and I looked at the Kernel and OS Version and It is 4.1.2 and looks like there is alot of patch work that is happening when update rolls out .

Basically another update coming and still remain 4.1.2 but there are fixing low signal and wifi and auto brightness and patching things up battery performance. Most likely patch too prevent rooting and getting the phone android 4.3 later this year

I do know that sprint is currently reviewing the version. As soon i get a copy of change log for the update. I will post it, unless someone does it before me.

I hope they won't lock the phone with this update. The phone specs seem to be strong enough to run 4.3 but LG is a company that deals in profit margins not product longevity when it comes to cell phones.

I got the official tot and dll and software tool for the LS970ZVC , it still 4.1.2 , but they made some improvement , will post it ASAP

this sure did the auto brightness issues and wifi and radio lock on better and they updated most of google apps that are pre installed and still android 4.1.2

I just received the update OTA... I just signed up for all access trial, and I started listening to music... it played for a while, then failed. Is this the same symptom as before? I am on a slow 3g connection, in case that matters.

Yeah, sounds like it's still busted. I am rooted and running CM where it works fine, I hope LG can get their act together.

Both my wife and I have this phone and have been having issues with texts being sent multiple times. Since the update, haven't had it happen once. Keeping my fingers crossed.

At work I always got a slow 3G connection, now I get a decent 4G connection after the update.

But also I'm getting lots of repeat text messages
