Hello. I've got two notifications for a system software update. They have come in while I'm on the mobile network, I have been wanting to download them I'm on WiFi, there are the so disappeared again. I've been inside and check for new updates, but there are not any?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you actually decline the software updates at first, or did you just wait?

I've tried rebooting, smart manager and restart, soft reset. But still no update

can you try wiping your cache partition?

power off the phone

hold down the volume down + home button then power button and keep them all pressed till you see an Android logo........

wait for a while, then you will see a message saying no command, press the volume up button again, you will get a menu

go to wipe cache partition, select yet, then then click on reboot phone

I've tried that you wrote, I come to a turquoise image, choose vol. Down for the restart and vol .. Up and coming as a Odin menu. I'm sorry but is very new to Android

ok let's try again

1) Shutdown your phone
2) Press the VOLUME UP + Home Key and while keeping them pressed, THEN press and hold the power button so all of them are held simultaneously
3) When you see the blue screen with an Android dude, wait for him to die, you will see the Android guy image as if he's dead (seriously)
4) wait for a few seconds until you see the options, if you don't press the volume up key once
5) now you should see the menu options with the Wipe Cache Partition listing

He only has 4 posts, so it may be worth adding the following instructions:

6) Use the volume up and down buttons to scroll through the menu list
7) Use the power button to select the highlighted option.

Who's your carrier? Updates sometimes get pulled due to bugs that crop up.

If you're NOT ON AT&T

Set the time forwards 3 days. Reboot and try again. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't.

Never ever do this on AT&T. They have a slot system. You are able to get an update during a specific period of time. If you wait too long, you lose that slot and get a new spot in line 48 and 72 hours later.

So many people just set the clock forward and tricked the system that AT&T did something (dunno what exactly) about it, and you might never get the update.
