Software upgrade from AT&T on my One

I just had my 2 wk old phone install an update from AT&T. It downloaded about a 20mb file and on the install it displayed "Updating Android", then optimized all of my apps.

Does anyone know what the update was for? It wasn't an update to 4.2.2 still showing 4.1.2

It updates the firmware and basecode. It's been out for over a month, but I've yet to get it on my phone, which I've had since the day it came out in April.

If you go the the HTC site you can manually install the update. I had to do the same thing, AT&T never pushed it through to my phone either. I just need to warn that you may have to do it 2x, the first time it will seem as if the phone is bricked, simply reset and start over, and it will be fine. This happened to me and 3 others.
