[Solved]Google Assistant seems to be down.

About an hour ago Google Assistant stopped working on my Pixel 4a running Android 12 Beta 5. I did all the troubleshooting and no go. So then I asked my wife to check her Pixel 4a running Android 11. No go for her as well.
It would be interesting to find out if Assistant is working for others.

I don't actually use Google assistant for anything but using the Google search bar/voice commands on my Note 20 Ultra I can search the web and get navigation, but get Google has stopped error if I try to use it to set an alarm or call someone. I'd say there is probably a problem with Google right now.

Clear data then force stop Google app then turn assistant back on , if that don't help unintall the update to Google app and don't let play store update it and see if it works

Did all that. And like I wrote my wife's Pixel 4a is having the identical issue, as is the 2nd poster.

Just tried Assistant. It's working again. Google must have fixed it overnight.

Assistant is also working on my wife's phone so I think this thread can be closed.
