[Solved] No Yahoo mail notification on my GS5 DUOS

Hi

I use both yahoo Mail app and Gmail app. The notifications on my GMail app works perfectly on my Galaxy S5 DUOS (Lollipop 5.0), but the Yahoo mail app notifications do not work.

I started to get that problem with my old Galaxy S2, but it still remain with my new phone.

I checked all the options (Notification in Y!mail app and also in the Android settings are activated), read many tread in english and french forum, tried many things (clear cache, uninstall/reinstall the app, test different options) but nothing worked.

I wanted to cantact Yahoo support but when I click on "contact-us, they send me to a FAQ page. Impossible to find a contact form there.

Is anyone else had this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the App Manager, select Yahoo Mail, and make sure the "Show Notifications" box is checked.

iam facing the same problem for a couple of days with my yahoo account. Any ideas?

Problem solved with the last update (v5.0.4) of Y!mail app
