Solved - Z Flip SMS issues

I bought my wife a Z Flip 3 for Christmas. We are having an issue where she does not receive SMS from me.

She has received messages from others with no issues. But my messages keep getting sent to her old phone for some reason.

We are both on Google Fi and I am using a Pixel 6 Pro. I believe the people she has successfully received messages from are all iOS but I'm not certain about that.

Any thoughts?

You using stock Samsung message app ? Try Google messages If its the same issue?

Was her last phone an iphone?

She needs to unregister her number from Apple or she won't get the messages.

Thank you very much. She was coming from a Pixel 3a and I did not realize we needed to turn that off. I actually just installed Google messages on her device instead of the Samsung app and enabled the chat feature on it. Problem solved.

Again, I appreciate the help.
