Some Commercials That Drive You Crazy!

Since the quarantines began, I have watched more TV than I can believe.

Some of the commercials, however, are irritating after awhile.

If I have to see those ladies pull their dirty clothes out of the hamper, sniff them, then put the clothes on & parade around much more, I'm going to scream. Downy Unstopables... (grumble, grumble)

My husband now announces, "Here's your favorite commercial!".

I rarely watch TV, have never paid for TV service, Hulu and Netlix already existed when I moved out of my parents house. My ad block prevents ads from playing on Hulu, I just get a black screen when they ad should play. Also have the paid version of YouTube.

I don't think I've seen a single commercial since before social distancing went into effect because I spend most of my time home now. Haha

I've been seeing a lot of YouTube ads - we don't have cable so we're at the mercy of YouTube Pringles ads or ads for universities and schools. I wrote a novel during quarantine and had to research theatre schools in Canada. Ironically, it was only a brief couple of minutes looking at the top theatre schools in Canada, but I immediately began to see "Vancouver Film School" ads every day since then, maybe 2-5 times at the very least.

But that's okay! At least I remember what school my antagonist will be applying to.

whats a commercial? Nothing I watch has commercials Now I will listen to commercials on the old time radio shows where they have ads for stuff like blue coal, telling how health cigarette smoking is, war rationing is and more. good history lessons.
