Some desktop icon backgrounds took on the color of my wallpaper. Android 15, up to date, 7a

A couple of weeks ago, after taking my phone out of my pocket, I noticed that about half of my home screen (and other screens no longer had their original look and color, but rather took on a shade of green from my wallpaper. Is this common and is there a fix? Many thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Wallpaper & Style, select Homescreen, and turn off Themed Icons.
