AT&T replaced my Note 5 due to a bad antennae.
I used Smart Switch to transfer data and noticed that some SMS were missing (seemed to be mainly recent ones? though I didn't look back too far). All of the missing SMS were texts FROM me TO someone else. (Some apps didn't come through either.)
I then used AT&T Setup and Transfer. All my apps and app data came through, but the missing SMS were still missing.
I then downloaded Google Messenger and set it as the default text app. I did this on both the new device and the old device. Messenger imported all SMS..... EXCEPT THE MISSING TEXTS. The SMS that didn't transfer also were missing from Messenger!!! Mind boggling!!
Anyone have any ideas how to get these missing SMS onto my new phone?
