I use handcent for messaging. I had sent some sms's over the period of past few days and the spinner wheel, which shows sms is being sent, was going on and on for some of them even after days. I was not sure if handcent is still in the process of sending these messages or is it showing the spinner for no reason. That was until this morning when I rebooted my phone and in a few mins people started responding to my messages I sent days ago. Then I noticed that every message I had seen the spinner next to, was just sent seconds after I rebooted my phone. I dont know if this is Epic's issue, Sprint's issue or Handcent's or android's. Did anyone else experience anything like this before?

Since your problem is possibly device-specific, I think this forum is fine for your topic.

To rule out Handcent as the culprit, why don't you try using the stock SMS app for a day or two?

I have been reading about people having many issues with texting over the past few days due to something Sprint did with the network. If it persists, you may have an issue with Handcent, but I'd just wait a day and see how it acts.

the same thing happened to me within the first couple days of having the phone using the stock messaging app. a little symbol, i think a red circle of some kind, just stayed on the right side of every message and none of them were sent. stayed like that for hours when i checked later. i reset the phone and suddenly all of them were sent out and the red circles were cleared.

This has been to me lately with handcent, two weeks ago everything was fine, not sure if its sprint or handcent

I'm now having this problem with Handcent and emoji texts on my Bionic. I never had this trouble with my Eris. Any suggestions?
