Someone Please Help! Charging Problem!

I am having a weird charging problem on my Evo 4g. I'm thinking it's the chargers fault because not too long ago, I accidentally bent the USB plug on the charger (not the one that goes into the phone). After that, it was still charging good. But yesterday, I tried to plug it into my keyboard to charge, but it wouldn't fit, so I got some pliers and bent it back to place. Ever since I did that, the Evo takes hours and hours to charge, and dies super quick.

I also hacked my Evo, but haven't done any tweaking or anything in a while, but I do over-clock to maximum and keep it on "performance", but not while I'm charging. I also keep the display very dim due to this problem. I have MIUI 1.3.11, the latest one. I also had this problem on CM7 RC1. I have to turn off my phone so it can charge faster. :'( Also sometimes it won't charge at all, just stay at 11% or something.

I'm going to charge my phone with another charger in a couple of hours, since I don't have it right now. I will post results. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

PS: The reason I posted this in "HTC EVO 4G Rooting, ROMs, and Hacks" was because I thought this had something to do with my ROMS. If you don't think it belongs here, please move it.

The issue may also be the USB port on the keyboard. It prob doesn't have enough power going to it to charge. I would try a USB on the CPU or an adapter to plug it into an outlet.

Thanks for the help, but I charge on many outlets through out the day haha. At night I use the outlet on the wall, during the day I use the USB port on my CPU. The reason I only used the keyboard once to charge it was because it didnt have enough power the first time.

Oh man I need huge help now! My phones battery was at 0 this morning, and jumped to 98 percent and turned off the phone. And now when I plug it in (I tried two USB plugs and one adapter) it doesnt show the orange light and it wont turn back on! Some one please help!

Edit: I bet my Evo's bricked for good, even though I did nothing to it. I tried everything, another battery, another USB plug, another adapter, everything. Oh well...

Edit 2: haha wow. I got a 1750 mAh battery from best buy and surprisingly, it works fantastic. 60 bucks though :l
