Something strange happened yesterday with Google Play Books?

Yesterday evening I went for dinner at my favorite little retaruant and as usual, took the N7 with me to read while at dinner. In the middle of reading, I was suddenly faced with a blank white page. I tried to go backwards and forward with no luck, so I went all the way back to home and started over. It would show all my books but not one would open to anything but a blank page. I restarted the N7 twice with the same result and then gave up.

I tried to open them with my Galaxy S3 with the same results. After getting home a bit later, I tried one of my other N7s and all was fine so I again tried the one I had taken with me and it now worked fine!

Has anyone ever had that happen to them?

The Play store may have had temporary problems or you may have had connection problems. I download any books I buy to the device so I don't have to rely on the Play store or connectivity. Downloaded books work anywhere, anytime.

There was connectivity at the place I was eating at. I checked my e-mail there after the problem occured with the books, so perhaps it was with Play Store. I have three N7's and the S3. I know that I downloaded the books to one of the two 32GB's but I'm not positive which one. Is there a way to figure out which one has the book downloaded to the device?

Edit: Duhh, I'll just turn off the wifi and that should show me which one of them has the books on the device.

I just did that and the one that I had with me yesterday works fine without being connected to the internet.

When I am in Play Books on the All Books screen, the ones I have downloaded have the push pin underneath colored blue while the others are non-colored

Why not? I have one that I take with me everywhere, another that I leave in my home office and a third in reserve just in case. The "reserve" is the first one I bought, an 8GB and the other two are the 32GB versions.
