Something to start nagging them about?

Off the front page of this site it say sideloading is reenabled on the Crapsung Infuse. Do you guys think we ought to start nagging them to reenable it on our phones? They promised us an update to enable that feature in March, as reported by our lovingly favorite Android Central editors. I "ass"-umed they would enable that function with the HSUPA update. Sadly, they didn't. I just want to know from them if we will have to wait till we get our gingerbread update sometime this summer. What do you think? Will we get it enabled with a regular update? Or will we get it with our HTC-promised OS update? Or do you think we'll even get that feature at all? Let's discuss this issue in this thread. I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on this issue before I start haggling them for information with my account holder.

I know if you go to the Amazon Appstore online, there is a note that they're working with AT&T to allow use of it.

Isnt that blockage there to protect your phone? I know one time this random app, which I later researched and found out had a lot of spyware and viruses, tried to install. 2 seconds later I got a message saying that the phone doesnt allow downloads from non android market sources. Boy was I relieved.

What exactly would the advantages be for having this? Wouldnt it be more risky? But yes, i agree they should at least make it an option to enable it if you want...
