Songs showing twice in Music Player

MP3s showing up twice in Music Player main song list

I have flash several ROMS here and there and now I'm running the Fresh Froyo.

I'm not sure when this started, but in the songs list in the Music Player, all the songs show up twice in the list. If I go the SD Card, they are only there once.

Any ideas AC peeps?

I have deleted Dalvik cache and the music app's cache, but the double song list still appears. I don't see any extra or hidden files in the music folder that might suggest that there is a saved setting telling the music app to read every MP3 twice.

This happened to me, too. I discovered that the music had been written to the music folder on the SD card and also to the main memory. The music player discovered the music in both places and listed the songs twice.

Attach the phone to your computer and delete the songs from the main memory.

I had this happen also, and I attached the phone to the computer. I deleted all the music and then synched it again with my computer. I had them listed once for a couple of days and then the double listing came back. Any further ideas?
