Sony Repair Screen Replacement Cost

Does anyone have experience dealing with Sony Repair to replace a cracked screen on their Xperia? I called about my Z3 Compact's cracked screen and they said they will give me a quote once they examine my phone. If I decide not to follow through, I'll get charged a $25 service fee to have it sent back to me. I'm worried the cost will be over my budget ($150), and they refused to give me a rough estimate due to "quality purposes." :/

I haven't replaced the screen my self but seen others in Sweden that done that for a cost of 190 $
