Sony Smartwatch 3 vs Samsung Gear S2

Hello, I'm considering purchasing my first smartwatch. The Gear S2 is the one that caught my attention, but after reading some reviews I don't know if it's for me.

The Sony Smartwatch 3 offers what I think I'd want (good battery, Android Wear and gps) but it's a little long in the tooth now and I was just curious of any one had compared it to the newest Sammy watch?
