sony xperia s screen unresponsive

Hi,
i have a rooted and bootloader unlocked xperia s. My screen has just stopped working for no apparent reason. I have tried pc comparision but it doesnt work and as usb debugging is disbaled i cant use emma. Any suggestions on what to do next

It sounds to me as if you know far more about phones than I do, but I wonder whether the screen has failed...does it seem like that to you?
