Sony xperia xz3 H9436 only works in safe mode and flight.

As I've already mentioned, I suspect it's a hardware fault. Either bring it to a repair shop, or move on to a new phone.

I guess you can't turnoff the cell radio otherway then plane mode? I tried to turnoff side sensor and one hand sensor but it's the same in normal mode. I read that others had the sensors problem that caused restarts.

Maybe it is the Android 10 copy on the phone? I miss icon for video and calculator and more. Even after a new copy.

I read through your posts, and saw that you said it works normally in Safe Mode, but it sounds like that was without a SIM card. Have you tried using a SIM card while in Safe Mode? If it still reboots in Safe Mode, then that would strongly suggest the problem lies with the cell radio

I have tried a sim card in regular mode but not in safe mode. It can be found in normal mode but the phone restarts. I will try in safe mode.

I tried in both slots and it worked better in slot 2. The card could be found but no internet or use for phone or sms. It also restarted in safe mode with sim. I may have had plane mode when i first tried in safe mode without sim. I guess the cell radio cannot be replaced?

Ok, I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue. I think the cell radio is part of the SoC, so you can't just replace that. Unfortunately, I think that phone is a lost cause, unless you just want to use it as a wi-fi device on Airplane Mode.

I know you can use special codes in the phone to get advanced fault search but without a sim i can't use codes.

I don't know if you've ever heard the term "stick a fork in it, it's done" but that applies to your phone unfortunately :-\
