Sony Xperia Z

Just received mine yesterday.
So far, the phone is pretty good. Good quality pictures, great sound for mp3.
But connecting it to a Mac with OSX Mountain Lion is painful.
Syncing it, even using the Missing Sync, doesn't work well.
And the SDXC card won't mount on OSX, dunno why.
So far not the best experience...

You bought the c6603 model? How's the 3G connection on AT&T?

No idea about AT&T.
Dig Elugas :-)

I just wish that Panasonic still felt like selling the Elugas outside of Japan, I was hoping for a successor. I like what Sony is doing with their minimal design as well, though. I hope to track down the right model of the Xperia Z soon.

So how is the battery life now that you've had it a few days?

Also with the stamina mode enabled how fast is it to connect to the wifi/wireless networks after waking it up?

doesn't last long. plus you can't change the battery which isn't helping.

Interesting, so reading GadgetHoney's comments she said that hers was incredible with the stamina mode enabled while you are saying that it isn't long at all.

Just curious since I'm tempted to try this phone out since it seemed like a pretty good device. How much do you do on a daily basis (calls, internet surfing, playing games / using apps, etc.)? Also what do you mean by "doesn't last long"? 2-3 hours? 3-4?

Thanks!

Is there any way of having the swipe screen display before a pin? I tried downloading a lock screen but it asks for the pin before it displays the swipe/alternative lock screen

So basically you swipe or whatever and then type the pin

When is it coming to US? This is the first Android tablet that I really want! I hope it comes in a WiFi-only variant, I have no need for an LTE modem.
