Soon to be new user of the S4.

This will be my first android phone and I was wondering if 1 GB of data would be sufficient enough. I do not use my phone for the internet unless its an emergency or I need to google something real quick. With that said my only concern is about the weather app that comes along with the phone. Will this app eat up a ton of data or any pre-installed app?
