Is there anyway I can just have my volume for incoming calls on and keep my notifications on vibrate? I'm an on call worker and I leave my phone on vibrate because I'd like to have the ringtone for calls on and all the other crap off? Thnx in advance

In settings do not assign any tone for the incoming notifications such as sms.

I tried a volume enhancing app that Jason Howell was all gaga over. As for right tones I noticed no difference. It did enhance headset volume.... Hope that helps

menu - settings - sounds - volume. Disable use default for notifications. Set notifications to minimum. Ensure vibrate is allowed.
