Sound Issues

Anyone else have sound issues? Half the time I'll get sounds and half the time I wont. When I plug the phone in to charge half the time it makes a sound and half the time it does not. When text message comes in half the time I get the notification and half the time I don't. That is just a few sound issues I'm having. Is there some cause for this? I checked the do not disturb setting and that is not on.

This happens to me when I throw it onto my charger. But I've had no other issues.

I have had issues with the notifications, mostly for Twitter and Instagram, where they only play sound 1/3 of the time while the notification icon always displays. I have also noticed that the IG story videos sometimes start silent instead of with sound; pressing the volume keys brings back the sound.

For me, notifications from CalenGoo and Textra always play.

As a test, I set the phone to vibrate mode, using long/repeated patterns, and it seemed that the vibrate would start but get immediately stopped, which would explain the lack of sound for many of the sound notifications.

I get around this problem using the app "Light Flow" to play the notifications for twitter and Instagram and any other app that should not be remaining silent.

So far mine play all the time, have not had any issues at all with notification sounds not playing. I use a .ogg file I migrated over from my Samsung S5, though that shouldn't make any difference. Only had the phone two weeks though.
