Sound notification for voicemail??

I have a Galaxy S5 (TMobile service) and would like to get a sound notification when I get a voicemail. It seems logical there would be an option for this but I'll be darned if I can find it. I've tried sound settings, voicemail settings -- nada. Help??

Welcome to Android Central! I can't say exactly where it would be on an S5, but on my Nexus 5, I open the Dialer, tap Menu>Setting>Call Settings>Voicemail>Sound.

Do you have the visual voicemail app? If so, there is a setting in that app to receive notifications when you get a new voicemail. It uses the default notification tone.

I do have the visual voicemail app. When I open the app "settings" all I see are options for Greetings, Change PIN, Voicemail to Text, Send transcriptions as SMS, Visual Voicemail, and general app information ("About"). No notification options. What am I not seeing??
