Forgive me for sounding so stupid I just wanted to know if someone had been experiencing this. It occurs whenever I use my headphones.. I used the stock ones and some other headphones I got as well. I turned the beats option off and still it's like the sound goes down and then back to normal. It happens several times during a minute. I'm not sure what's causing it. Maybe someone knows of this and has a workaround for it.

Thanks

Yes, I've found that while using headphones when I hit the down button the side of the phone the sound gets lower and when I hit the up button it gets louder. I can't quite figure it out.

Ja ja ja very funny.. But I'm serious I can just be watching a movie and it randomly the volume goes up and down. Any one experiencing this?

No you're not crazy, this happens to me too, and it doesn't make any difference what the audio is, really. I notice it most when I am on the phone with someone. I can be standing perfectly still, the phone is not switching radio frequencies or towers or anything, my hands are nowhere near the volume rockers. This is a legitimate bug! Very annoying --- makes it hard to use the phone as a phone, since it makes it hard to hear the other person, changing the volume of their voice at random times. frellingfracker may not be seeing this problem, but you and I sure are.

What ROM are you using, by the way?

I had problems with the headphones that came with the phone. Stopped using them, and no problems for me.

It's probably "pocket mode" or "quiet ring on pick up" bugging and some how interfering while lisning to music ext.. hopefully it will be fixed.
