Sound only heard through headphones

I have only had my HTC One for a week. I used my headphones, and everything was fine. Then when I went to play music without headphones, no sound came out. I tried playing music while in my car to see if the bluetooth would pick it up (as it did before), but that didn't work. My phone as well as my car stereo screen showed something was playing, but no sound came out. I thought may be it was the program I was using to play music, so I switch to Pandora, but the same problem occurred. I restarted my phone twice, plugged the headphones in and out, and nothing has seemed to work. If my phone rings, the ring will work through the speakers and my car, but no music. Anyone know what the issue is here?

Try going to settings/sound and turning up all the volumes. Headphones and bt are separate from the regular media volume.
