Sound only works in Safe Mode on my Nexus 7 (2013). Factory reset didn't help.

It just happened over night. The fact that it works in Safe Mode makes me think that it has something to do with software, but after doing a factory reset, the problem is still there. I've tried using headphones as well, but still no luck.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

It did unfortunately not help :S Could there be any of the standard software that are at fault?

Sure seems like it. How old is the tablet? I would guess it's still under warranty. You could try contacting Google support here--click on "Contact Us" at the upper right.

I bought it in October so warranty should be fine. Yeah, it seems like I have to contact either Google or Asus because there doesn't seem to be any answer on the internet.

He noted it still seemed to occur even after factory reset, so I'm guessing it's not 3rd party apps ...
