Sound shutting off?

I don't think this was ever posted after doing a search:

Its happened relatively ofte BOTH before being rooted and after being rooted. My sound in general on the phone stops. Meaning, even with the sound on the highest profile, I dont get a ringtone, notifications, my mp3 player doesnt play music when you can clearly see the track is going. Nothing works. When I drop it to vibrate, I get my vibrate notifications but still, the MP3 player doesnt play music. What is causing this or exactly which sound thing should I wipe the cache? The sound comes back after I do a phone reset. Its bugging me because it does it often.

I had that happen for the first time yesterday. Had to reboot to get it back. It was really annoying because I was trying to watch some pr0n.

Happened to me today. Restarted it and it all came back. My phone is NOT rooted either.
