Sounds are low at first then get loud after

Hey all,

I've had my tbolt since Jan. I've noticed that, if the phone is idle for a while... and i get a notification or I unlock the phone.. the first sound the phone makes the volume sounds like it's at 50%. Every sound after that is at full volume.

Is this a "feature" of GB? It happens with any ROM i run.
I've read other threads at other sites saying the quiet ringer --> loud ringer is a "feature" in GB... just want to confirm

Try unchecking the - Menu/Settings / Sounds

• Quite Ringer on pickup
• Pocket Mode
• Flip for Speaker

Nope. Didn't work i've tried that one a couple times.
I found the exact same problem with the HTC desire..
it's the initial sound the phone makes. (unlock sound off), unlock phone, go to settings->sounds->notifications and select a tone. listen to it carefully. after it plays play the tone again and you will (may) notice the sound is louder the second time. It has to be the first sound the phone makes.
