Sounds from app despite Silent profile

[AC Question]

Hi,

I set Silent sound profile on my LG G5 (all 4 categories incl. notification sound and Music, video, games & other media) and yet some apps are able to play sounds (Uber partner app e.g.).
When I activate the Silent mode, I'd expect all sounds to be silenced - that has been the case on LG G3.
I've looked in app settings and everywhere, can't find any solution.
(Yes I can turn the sound off in the app itself, but why isnt the >general< sound setting = profile (like G3) working?)
