sounds issue using WhatsApp video call

Since getting the Note20U the person on the other end of a WhatsApp video call has complained of echoing and jumbled background noise, in addition to just sporadic connection. The old Note9 worked beautifully.
Regular phone calls have been fine.

Anyone have a clue what this could be, and/or if there is a fix?

Are you on wifi or data when this happens? You use Bluetooth?

I'm using wifi, on the home network

It COULD be our daughter's side of things too. Not totally sure it's on me...

This happened with my Note 10+ and did not know until my brother pointed out. Thought it was a one time thing until he told me that was the usual. Upgraded to a N20U and that was solved. Maybe your deceive is just faulty like mine was. Different models but the audio components may be susceptible to the same defects.

I sure hope it's not a defective phone. What a pain in the keister that'd be...
