I was have some GPS problems yesterday so I so talking to a Verizon tech support guy. He told Motorola was in the building at the time answering question of the droid and giving service pack updates. I mentioned that I heard they were coming out 12/11. The tech said yeah that's what he thought too, but Motorola just told them it will hit a lot sooner the 12/11 and there would be a lot more updates then what was released to the web. The updates that where released to the web were what Verizon demanded to be fixed. Motorola had updates of their own. He did not give any more onfo then that. Just thought I would past that tidbit along.

Can't always trust CSR's but you never know. There are quite a few bugs that they may be rushing to squash.

Only bug that I care about bad enough is the crackling sound coming out of the headphone jack when I'm plugged into my radio. If they fix that anything else will be icing on the cake.

Do you guys find that you can hear every bit of background noise while talking on the handset? I hope that's a fix as well.

Talking to a moto rep the other day about network connect issues with the droid and the updates will be coming fast and furious with this device... def can see the commitment on this line.

Well this is the Android Flagship now, er, and Moto's for that matter lol. After all the hype and Google being the one to call the shots for the most part, I'm sure they're as antsy to get the issues resolved as we are for having them resolved.

Lotta tick-tock, $, and Red Bull went into this ;) And that, in the end, is GREAT for us :D
